Muslow Forestry, Inc., established in 1978, is a
reputable, Shreveport, Louisiana based consulting forestry firm, staffed
with three graduate foresters, a forest technician, and office staff,
offering many years of experience
in professional forest management. We assist landowners in
 Louisiana,
Arkansas, and Texas with their forest management needs, and welcome the
opportunity to assist you with your forest management objectives.We are affiliated with the Louisiana Forestry Association, Texas Forestry Association, Tree Farm System, and National Society of American Foresters. As with any investment, it is imperative to be knowledgeable of the value of your asset in order to realize the income potential and associated expenses that are necessary in maintaining a viable forest. When focusing on timber sales, our goal is to achieve the highest market value for various products purchased by the wood producing facilities in the area your timberland is located. Muslow Forestry is employed by the landowner and not the timber purchaser. When selling timber, our fee is based on a percentage of the total timber sale value. Therefore, our interest lies in making sure you receive the highest dollar value for your timber. The majority of our timber sales are performed by advertised sales resulting in higher competitive prices. Our clientele consists of private not industrial landowners.
